About the Presenter

Florencia Russo is a certified Spanish into English public translator and a graduate of the National University of La Plata, Argentina. She specializes in technical translation for the automotive, oil and gas, and technology sectors and contributes to content development for a company specializing in AI-powered translation software. A self-proclaimed tech enthusiast, her passion for technology began at age 15 with her first PC. Using a 386 computer and basic programming, she developed her first computer-assisted dictionary, combining her love for language and innovation. Since 2017, she has been delivering courses and workshops on digital tools for translators, sharing practical applications of technology with local and international audiences. As a board member of the Association of Certified Translators of La Plata since 2021, she leads the Commission on Computer Tools, championing the effective integration of digital resources into translation workflows. Her expertise bridges language and technology, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and quality in professional translation.
